When river flooding occurs, there is a natural tendency that a sewage backup could occur where a voluminous load of organic matter contaminates a building and its surrounding. This is likewise a threat to human health because of the presence of pathogenic microbes.
Generally, a sewage damage cleanup is done when the problem has been identified after the flooding subsides.
